How to Find Customers Online

5-Week Digital Marketing Training
for Small Businesses in Partnership with Pinecrest

Use digital marketing to drive revenue and increase brand awareness during COVID-19

Course Description

  • This five-hour course is an easy-to-understand introduction to digital marketing for small businesses. No fancy tech jargon or dazzling with dashboards. Just plain talk, solid advice and lots of examples of how small businesses like yours can use creative marketing to sell to strangers online. This course is being provided at no cost to the community by Pinecrest through a federal CARES Act grant.
  • BizHack Founder Dan Grech will lead the five one-hour sessions. For experienced marketers, it'll be a concise review of online marketing best practices. For businesses just getting started in online lead generation, it will open the door to a new way to grow your business.
  • Each week, we'll review key online tools and tactics to find new prospects, bring back past customers, and increase sales during COVID-19. You’ll get an assignment to help you put the insights into action.
  • The training will focus on the marketing channels that are most relevant to a storefront business – website, social media, Yelp, Google My Business, video, email, phone, messenger, mail, signage, and flyers. As part of the funding, any storefront business located inside Pinecrest is eligible for personalized coaching from a BizHack certified instructor.
  • This training is funded through the federal CARES Act in partnership with Pinecrest. BizHack Academy and Pinecrest are dedicated to supporting our small businesses, the lifeblood of our community. The grant funds training for up to 100 storefront businesses located in Pinecrest, but as a community service we’ve decided to open up the live webinars to all comers.
  • Signing up for this five-hour crash course – and more importantly, attending every session – will send a clear message to the government that this kind of training is in high demand, and that we need more training like it. Show your support for small businesses everywhere by signing up and sharing this information with a business owner in need.
